Getting Started

Welcome to the documentation for Hummingbot, an open source trading bot that helps you run automated, market making strategies across multiple cryptocurrency exchanges.

We'll populate these docs with a lot more content once we release the public beta version, expected by end of March 2019.

Hummingbot is open-source software, freely available for anyone to use however they please. Hummingbot is accessible through a desktop client app, similar to interacting with an Ethereum or Bitcoin node. Users of Hummingbot must themselves ensure that the actions they are performing are compliant with the laws in all applicable jurisdictions and must acknowledge that others’ use of Hummingbot may not be compliant. Users of Hummingbot do so at their own risk.

CoinAlpha, Inc. is not a financial intermediary. CoinAlpha, Inc. never knows any of Hummingbot users’ private keys or identifying information. CoinAlpha, Inc. cannot recover a Hummingbot user’s lost private keys or reverse actions performed using Hummingbot.
